People. I live here, I work here and I am responsible of the wellbeing of our visitors. The people who work for Råmossa are carefully chosen. Out wilderness guide Dani (born in Hungary) speaks fluently Hungarian, German, English and Finnish. One of our guests (6-years old smart girl) was pretty sure she would like to marry Dani. Our regular chef Georg (born in Germany) can handle any kind of special food requests our visitors needed. Couple weeks ago I called Georg could it be possible to have gluten-free cake late friday evening. After 45 minutes he drove to Råmossa and we had a wonderful cake. This is also a true family business. My spouse Outi and our familyteam all partly work here. Yes, we have an excellent Råmossa people for our visitors.

Nature. We believe that the unforgetable memories come from our private forest and lake. Our guests get the scent of the soothing calmness of the still forest and also learn about the abundant fauna and flora that surrounds us. We move by walking or snowshoeing.  We pick berries, mushrooms and even gather roots and birch sap. In winter there a possibility to icefish! Our visitors from Rome and Naples liked it. A lot! The day is complete by relaxing in the traditional sauna, heated by wood ofcourse, and by dipping in fresh and clean lake or hot tub. In winter we make an ice hole if needed.

Details and feedback. I used to be banker in a multinational bank. We had a saying "retail is detail". That is true. Details are everything. We care our visitors and we are ready for every visit. That is the reason we only take two groups per week. There is a flag in a flagpole when you arrive to Råmossa. We do not use plastic cups, we recykle and we use as much local ingredients as possible. We don´t serve strawberries in winter and mostly the food is vegan. Naturally we also serve food made of game or organic meat.  We have a clear and simple question for our visitos to collect feedback; how did we manage and what can we do better?".

Privateness and safeness. This is a private lodge and forest. We only have one group at a time. Råmossa Lodge has a quality sertificate Quality1000. Yes, you can relax here. In a big time!
